Josee is a self-taught artist who turns mainly non-biodegradable materials from found objects and trash into art pieces. She developed an interest in environmental protection or reservation in her early years. She uses plastic bags, packaging materials, and other household waste in the upcycling process intending to give these materials a second life while raising awareness to viewers of the "impulse disposable" consumption habit.
